Portia has arrived

Friday @ 3:15 am she arrived. Labor was not bad at all and delivery was a breeze, 15 min!!

She weighed 7 lbs and was 20 inches long. 

We can't get enough of her!

goodbye belly, I'll miss you........... NOT!!!!

Well I'm down to the wire, less than 24 hours and I'll have a new little angel in my arms.

It's a bitter - sweet feeling I have today, we have had such an easy road with Gunner and Mazi, and thought this was our little family and life was good. Now it's starting all over again, diapers, crying, spit up, nursing. You know all the fun stuff!! I'm soooooo excited and nervous all bundled up together in a HUGE emotional feeling today. I can't wait to hold her and to have our family grow, but I'm SO thrilled to see our Gunner and Mazi see there new little sister. I love that they are so excited, they packed her bag last week, and made her each a friendship bracelet. We're so happy to welcome our new daughter and sister in our family!!!!! 

A strange place for a fort

My kids asked if they could make a fort the other day, "of course you can" was my response.

Then 5 mins later I heard little pitter patter on the roof, next thing I know they have our patio furniture, blankets, and half our pantry up there. They love to play, and they even LOVE to do there homework up there too. I guess it's safer on the roof, than the streets. :)

My sweet little angels!!

Why!!! Why, when Halloween rolls around my kids never want to be a princess, fairy, spider man, or a clown. They either want to be something dead or something scary. My little angels make me cringe, they would rather watch "The Village" or "Signs" in a room with lights out and a bowl of popcorn rather than watch something funny or a cartoon. Seriously what's wrong with my chosen, little spirits. ;)

Diving in Oct?????

Yep, it's a warm 85-90 here in AZ. It's beautiful weather!!!! The kids took up dive this season and absolutely LOVE it. It's so much fun to watch them, they are on the same team, so it's wonderful to see them encourage each other. Mazi thinks she needs to wave to us EVERY time she gets done with a dive, it makes us laugh. Anyways, I guess it's a total bragging post, but I had to brag just a little. It was hard to move here to AZ, so it's nice to see my kids get so excited about this. 

memories

We went to our friends cabin this weekend to enjoy some cool weather and make some memories, and we did just that!!!! We had such a good time!! We ate good food, 4 wheeling, tennis, watched movies, canoeing, skateboarding, we even got to watch Craig and Rusty wrestle.

It was fun to watch....... even though Rusty smoked him, my sweetie put up a good fight. :)

We're so grateful for good friends to hang with, thanks guys so much for the memories!!!!

Lake Powell 2009 with the Halls family

We had a great time this year at lake powell with the Halls family!!! We played in the sand, ate some good food (thanks grandma), bon fires, tubing, surfing, games, and lots of laughs and quality time with family. Thanks to grandpa and grandma Halls for hosting it!!!! We had perfect weather too!
